Received a B.S. in Pre-Medicine along with a minor in Japanese language from Pennsylvania State University. He attended medical school at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine where he completed his internship and family practice residency. He was Chief Intern and Chief Resident. He is Board Certified in Family Practice. After completing his residency, he served with the United States Air Force, he was awarded the Commendation and Meritorious service medals. He is a member of the American Osteopathic Association, American Medical Association, American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians and Pennsylvania Osteopathic Medical Association, and Fellow, American Academy of Disability Evaluating Physicians.
